Specialized Court in Hodeidah reviews evidence of issue of assassination of Martyr al-Samad

HODIEDAH, April 30 (Saba) – The Specialized Criminal Court in the province of Hodeidah on Monday continued to hear the evidence provided by the criminal prosecution specialized in the assassination of the martyr Saleh Ali al-Samad and six of his companions.

In its hearing, the court reviewed some of the evidence presented by the prosecution in case No. (12) for the year 2019, considered serious crimes.

At the hearing, the prosecution presented a copy of the judicial declaration published in the official newspaper Al-Thawra concerning 52 Yemeni and foreign defendants who were absent from the court and escaped from justice.

The Court agreed to continue hearing the rest of the evidentiary evidence provided by the Procurator for the accused persons held in custody at a future hearing.

The criminal prosecution in the province of Hodeidah accuses 62 defendants, the first of them is Donald John Trump and the last one is Muadh Abdul Rahman Abbas, to participate in a criminal agreement to target the convoy of the President of the Supreme Political Council Saleh Ali al-Samad on 19 April 2018 in the city of Hodeidah, which led to his death and six of his companions.
