MOSCOW, April 25 (Saba) – A Russian official on Thursday said the US decision on Al-Quds “Jerusalem” and the occupied Golan and the withdrawal from Iran’s nuclear agreement are steps that are destabilizing the situation in the Middle East.

“The United States’decision to recognize Al-Quds as the capital of Israel and the Golan Heights as a territory of the Jewish state, contrary to United Nations resolutions, as well as Washington’s unilateral withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement should undermines collective efforts to stabilize the situation in the Middle East,” the head of Russia’s foreign intelligence service Sergei Naryshkin said at the Moscow International Security Conference.

“Moreover, this jeopardizes the principle of settling crises in the region through multilateral negotiations,” Naryshkin said.
