FM stresses doubling efforts to enter humanitarian aid

SANAA, April 23 (Saba) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf Abdullah on Tuesday stressed on the importance of doubling efforts to enter humanitarian aid to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people due to the war and siege imposed by the Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.

The move came during his meeting with the UN World Food Program (WFP)regional director for the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and East Europe Muhannad Hadi.

The minister stressed the National Salvation Government’s keenness to provide all the necessary support and facilities for the UN organizations and programs working in Yemen.

Meanwhile, the UN official said the WFP would exert more efforts to provide the aid to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni citizen.
