Process of counting the votes in parliamentary elections begins

SANAA, April 14 (Saba) – The polling and counting committees in all vacant constituency centers on Saturday began the process of counting votes in the elections of members of the parliament in the vacant constituencies.

The Higher Committee for Elections and Referendum (HCER) directed supervisory and sub-committees in 453 electoral centers, which are divided into 24 constituencies in the capital Sanaa, Taiz, Hodeidah, Ibb, Baidah, Dhamar, Amran and Hajjah to submit the results as soon as the are ready, so that the High Committee may announce the winners in accordance with the law and the timetable.

The Secretary-General of the High committee, Mohammed al-Jalal told Saba that the voting process proceeded naturally in all the center and the vacant constituencies. He pointed out that the process of counting the votes is taking place in all centers.
