GAZA, April 13 (Saba) – A Palestinian child was killed and dozens of people were injured on Friday evening by live ammunition and tear gas suffocation, as Israeli occupation forces repressed citizens participating in peaceful marches on the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.

According to local sources, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that the child Maysara Musa Ali Abu Shallouf (15 years) was killed by a live bullet fired by Israeli snipers east of Jabalia town in the northern Gaza Strip.

The Red Crescent added that more than 66 Palestinians were wounded by live ammunition and suffocation, including 15 children, 6 girls and two people who were helping the wounded when the Israeli occupation forces attacked crowds of citizens participating in peaceful marches for the fourth consecutive week in the vicinity of the border fence in the eastern Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that 272 citizens have been killed and 16,656 others have been injured since the launching of peaceful marches on 30 March last year, east of the Gaza Strip.
