ِArmy’s spokesman: More than 20 Saudi soldiers killed and dozens wounded in an offensive operation in Jizan

JIZAN, March 24 (Saba) – Spokesman of the Armed Forces Brigadier Yahya Sarie said in a statement to Saba that the army on Sunday killed more than 20 elements of the Saudi enemy army and wounded dozens, including leaders.

He added that five enemy military vehicles were destroyed and the army’s soldiers seize large military equipment in a military operation carried out by the army, supported by popular forces, in Jizan.

Brigadier-General Sarie added that after careful monitoring of the movements and of the Saudi enemy army, special units of the armed forces carried out an offensive military operation from several tracks targeting the enemy positions east of the MBC Mountain, Safa, villages of Qima, Sayaba area and a number of adjacent sites.

He pointed out that the offensive operation of the army preceded by the launching of a Zizal missile on enemy’s forces and heavy artillery shelling on nearby sites, causing direct casualties.

He pointed out that the army forces surprised the Saudi enemy in this qualitative operation, which caused confusion and panic among his forces.

He pointed out that dozens of bodies of Saudi enemy is still dumped in the sites where they were and the enemy could not lift them despite support by their air force.

The spokesman of the armed forces confirmed that this successful military operation was documented by the media lens and will be broadcast in the coming hours.
