Head of SCR blames coalition states, UN for any possible breach of Stockholm Agreement

SANAA, March 6 (Saba) – Head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee (SRC), on Tuesday charged the countries of aggression, the United Nations and the Security Council with responsibility for any breach of the Stockholm agreement.

He also charged them with responsibility for circumventing it, through providing misinterpretation of its eighth article, including strengthening the United Nations mechanism for inspection and verification in ports Hodeidah, Ras Issa and Salif.

“This item shows that the inspection includes ports controlled by the security forces of the government of National Salvation,” the head of the Supreme Revolutionary Committee Mohamed Ali al-Houthi, said in a statement received by Saba news agency.

“The item confirms the absence of coalition’ troops and their mercenaries in Hodeidah, so the United States and its alliance can not ask from the United Nations to control ports as is the case of the port of Aden, and this item prevents any misinterpretation to circumvent the agreement of Sweden.

He pointed out that the media of aggression coalition exercised disinformation to demonize the defenders of the homeland, by portraying the item as a concession on sovereignty, but that disinformation is another confirmation of the lack of presence of the coalition or mercenaries in Hodeidah.
