Leader of Yemeni Revolution meets UN envoy to Yemen
SANAA, Nov. 22 (Saba) – Ansarullah spokesman Mohammed Abdul Salam said the leader of the revolution, Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, met with the UN envoy on Thursday. in Yemen, Martin Griffith.
During the meeting, Al-Houthi stressed the importance of credibility and the willingness of the forces of aggression to seek a political solution.
He added that the human and economic suffering of the Yemeni people resulting from the aggression and blockade, targeted all Yemenis without exception and exacerbated the crisis.
Mr. Al-Sayyid noted positive initiatives and concrete measures taken to support the political solution, end the aggression and eliminate justifications and unjustified allegations,
On the economic front, he stressed the need to put an end to economic restrictions in which the aggressive forces continue to target the national currency.
They also discussed what could help hold further consultations in December and the facilities needed to transport the wounded and sick for treatment abroad.
He also urged the UN to be neutral in its performance and to seek a comprehensive political solution.
