FM meets newly-WFP representative in Yemen

SANA’A, Feb. 01, (SABA) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf met here in Sana’a , on Wednesday with the newly- representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen, Stephen Andersen

During the meeting, Mr. Andersen presented a copy of his credentials as a WFP resident representative in Yemen.

For his part, the Minister stressed that WFP is one of the most important programs of the United Nations working in the field of humanitarian aid.

Sharaf said that the National Salvation Government is ready to provide all necessary facilities to all international organizations working in the country.

For his part, Andersen stressed that the WFP’s is concern to increase its activities and functions in Yemen in order to ensure the delivery of food aid to all those who are in need.
