President meets PM, FM

SANA’A, Jan. 24 (Saba) – President of the Supreme Council political and his deputy Dr. Qasim Labuza met on Tuesday at the Presidential Palace in Sana’a Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Habtoor and Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf.

The meeting discussed the results of visit of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Yemen Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed during the period of January 23 to 24.

The visit of the UN envoy for Yemen came to strengthen efforts to achieve peace talks and to ensure success to lead satisfactory agreement for all parties.

The meeting dealt with the political and diplomatic work mechanism and the future of peace in light of regional and international variables changes.

At the meeting, the president of the Supreme Political Council valued the national efforts made by the national delegation and the foreign minister as well as their adherence stopping the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen.

The minister demanded Ould Cheikh to present its briefing to the Security Council upon the reality of what is happening on the ground of aggression and dangerous escalation and siege aims at a comprehensive cutting ways of life for the Yemeni people.
