Parliament speaker meets leaders of Southern Yemen's provinces
[23/January/2017] SANA'A, Jan. 23 (Saba) – Parliament speaker Yahya al-Raei' on Monday said that the small projects, the US-Saudi aggression against Yemen and the presence of the occupying forces in some southern provinces are proving the attempts to re- divide Yemen.

This came upon his meeting with leaders of the Southern Yemen's Provinces, civil society organizations, academics, sheikhs and tribal figures at the Parliament.

Al-Raei' said that the Yemeni people are keen to respond to the aggression and the occupation and reject any interference in its internal affairs, calling to lift the unjust siege on sea, air and land of Yemen.

He called on all Yemeni people to preserve the unity of Yemen.

The leaders of the Southern Yemen's provinces confirmed their adherence to the unity of Yemen and its land, pointing that all the people of Yemen have touched good and well-being, development and economic revival, social and cultural under a United Yemen.

They confirmed the importance of choosing national leaders as governors and deputies as well as taking into account of the curriculum of schools and universities.
