Navy warns Saudi warships of using int’l waters to bomb civil targets

HODAIDA, Jan. 22 (Saba) – The Yemeni navy, coastal defense and coastguard warned the Saudi aggression’s warships not to use of the international water lanes in the Red Sea to bomb civil targets in the country.

"The aggression’s warships use the international water lanes to bomb civil targets, which pose a serious threat to international navigation in the Red Sea," a statement issued on Saturday said.

The Yemeni navy, coastal defense and coastguard affirmed readiness to respond to any bombing from the aggression coalition’s warships under any circumstances.

They also warned merchant vessels of passing through the international water lane without operating the Long Range Tracking and Identification (LRIT) for safe navigation.
