SANA’A, Dec. 17 (Saba) – Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf on Saturday renewed his call to the international community and the United Nations to exert more efforts to end humanitarian crisis in Yemen, in a statement to Saba.
"What Yemen immediately needs from the international community and the United Nations was not only emergency humanitarian aid, but to address the roots that cause the humanitarian crisis and to stop the coalition aggression and lift the unjust siege without any delay," minister Sharaf said.
The minister stressed that the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government were still reaching out for peace in return for immediate cessation of the aggression.
Mr. Sharaf also stressed that Sanaa will continue positively deal with all peace initiatives, including US state secretary John Kerry’s peace plan, Muscat’s agreement and UN envoy Ould Cheikh’s roadmap.
