Public funds prosecutors investigate LNG deal with Total

SANAA, Feb. 13 (Saba) – Judicial sources have revealed that the Public Funds Prosecution, specialized in corruption cases, started two months ago investigations into the case of selling the Yemeni liquefied natural gas (LNG) to the French energy company Total which caused a big damage to the interest of Yemen.

The sources told Saba that investigations included several officials of the Oil Ministry linked to the deal and officials of Total in Yemen, and that the investigations are still underway.
