Yemen denies media reports on shooting protesters in Aden
ADEN, Feb. 26 (Saba) – A security source in Aden governorate denied on Saturday media reports that security forces shot protesters in Mo’alla city of Aden on Friday night.
"An armed group of separatists belong to what is called "the movement",fired at protesters, security men, electricity office’s employees and citizens from some buildings, killing the electricity office director general, a soldier and a citizen and injuring four soldiers and some citizens," the source said.
Such act has led to killing the electricity office director general, a soldier and a citizen as well as injuring four soldiers, some citizens, the source said.
Staging an unlicensed demonstration, a group of troublemakers have committed sabotage acts against public and private properties, burning a security vehicle, attacking security men and citizens, according to the source.
The security devices are currently hunting the perpetrators to be captured and tried in accordant with laws, the source added.
