Activists from the Yellow Jackets movement, which began protests against fuel price increases, have called on social networking sites to launch a massive campaign to withdraw accounts from banks, the Associated Press reported.
They are hoping that the banking process would force the French government to comply with their demands, And vote on them.
Some 200 demonstrators, including members of the Workers' Union and members of the Yellow jackets movement, gathered earlier in the day in a French suburb of Créteil during a visit by the French president to the area. Police renewed tear gas grenades against demonstrators to keep the crowd away from Macron.
For the eighth week in a row, popular protests against Macaron's policies continue and demand his resignation because of his economic policies and lack of meeting the demands of protesters.
Macron's popularity was a record low because of his economic policies, which led to a steep rise in the cost of living and prompted the French to demand Macron's departure and a series of changes.
