Health minister calls on hospitals, private laboratories to commit to prices-list circulated
[06/December/2018] SANAA, Dec. 6 (Saba)- Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakil called on hospitals, private health centers, laboratories and pharmacies to abide by the ministry's circular regarding lowering the prices of medical and diagnostic services and medicines.

This came during his visit paid on Thursday along with the Director of the Health Bureau in the capital Sanaa, Dr. Matthar al-Marouni, to a number of hospitals, pharmacies and private laboratories to inspect the level of services and the extent of their commitment to the specific prices commensurate with the depreciation of the exchange rate against the riyal.

Minister Al-Mutawakel stressed that the ministry will take all legal measures against anyone who contravenes its circular, stressing the importance of supervising hospitals to ensure the quality of services provided to patients.
