Health Ministry condemns aggression targeting cholera treatment center in Hajjah
[12/June/2018]

SANAA, June 12 (Saba) – Yemen’s Ministry of Public Health and Population condemned on Tuesday the targeting of cholera treatment centers in Yemen’s provinces by US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition aircraft.

The Ministry said in a press conference that this is the sixth time that the coalition warplanes targeted centers of Doctors Without Borders.

The Ministry also pointed out that deliberate shelling seeks to undermine the health system, which threatens to stop the health services and the spread of a new wave of a pandemic.

The ministry pointed out that the coalition targeted more than 400 health facilities, in the context of the systematic closure of the health system, and that the number of killing and wounding due to air raids of aggression rose to 35297 as well as more than 3248 children were killed by the air raidsand the total number of disabilities reached 2081.
