President Hadi performs Eid al-Fitr's prayer

SANA'A, Aug. 19 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi coupled with senior officials performed on Sunday Eid al-Fitr's prayer in the republican palace's mosque at the capital of Sana'a.

In the Eid prayer's sermon, cleric Akram al-Ruqaihi talked about the greatness of the fasting ritual in the Holy month of Ramadan which ends up with the Muslims' celebration of Eid al-Fitr.

He indicated to the Eid's moral values and the Islamic principles of moderation, integrity and dignity away from extremism that leads the nation and society to misery and corruption.

The cleric pointed to the suicide bombings that claim the peoples' lives, stressing that Islam prohibits assaulting Muslims.

He addressed those who committed such crimes, saying "You have deviated from the right path of Islam and thought that religion is only bloodshed and intimidation of innocent people."

He warned all Yemenis of terrorism, accenting that importance of rally to encounter such perilous and to cooperate with the security forces to thwart sabotage and chaos.

He also urged to conduct dialogue among all parties and powers to debate the country's future.

After the Eid prayer, President Hadi received the congratulators and exchanged with them the felicitations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
