Suicide bombing kills over 30 people in Abyan

SANA'A, Aug.05 (Saba)- Over thirty of the people's committees members were killed and more than 40 others injured, when a suicide bomber blew himself on Saturday evening in a consolation in Ja'ar city in Abyan province.

An official source at the local authority in Khanfar district told Saba that remains of the victims scattered in the place due to the strength of the blast. He confirmed the survival of Head of the People's Committees Abdul Latif al-Sayed ,who held the consolation to receive condolences on the death of his uncle.

The accident was condemned by a number of social figures , local authority members and tribesmen, who stressed the importance of confronting these terrorist and criminal gangs.

It is worthy to be mentioned that a number of the terrorists have fled to neighboring mountains  northern Ja'ar city, after forcing them out of Abyan by the armed forces and the people's committees.
