SANA'A, Aug. 05 (Saba) –Sponsors of the Gulf initiative, represented by the European Union (EU), the five permanent members of the Security Council and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),expressed concern over the last events occurred at the Interior Ministry on Tuesday.

In a joint statement issued by their embassies in Sana'a on Friday, the sponsors condemned violence with all its forms, calling to respect all the government's institutions for the country is experiencing a critical stage.

"Expressing the social rights must be in a peaceful way for the violence only leads to more violence", they added, noting that the Gulf initiative's sponsors are closely watching the obligations of all parties in carrying out the Gulf initiative and to renounce acts of vandalism.
