SANA’A, July 23 (Saba)- Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met on Monday with Director of the European Union Project on fighting piracy ,Michael Stallone.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to improve the performance of the Maritime Regional Center for Information Exchange in Yemen, as well as strengthening its role in the regional framework.

The meeting touched upon the willingness of the international community to support the center's performance so as to contribute to achieving the stability in the region and creating an effective mechanism for the regional cooperation to reduce the phenomenon of piracy.
