ROMA, July 18 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi met in the Italian capital on Wednesday with Vice President of the Italian Senate Ms. Emma Bonino.

Al-Qirbi and Ms. Bonino reviewed the latest development on the national arena in the political, security and economic areas and the transitional stage's requirements, particularly in humanitarian field.

They also discussed the arrangements for the comprehensive national dialogue and donor meeting scheduled for next September in Saudi capital of Riyadh.

Mr. Bonino asserted that Italy would keep on supporting the power transition in Yemen, valuing highly the government's efforts to combat terrorism as well as the adopted actions to enhance Yemeni women's empowerment in the political and development areas.
