Investments, employments will help in stabilizing Yemen, President says

SANA'A, July 17 (Saba) - President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi said on Tuesday that investments and creating employments will help in stabilizing the country.

This came in a meeting gathered President Hadi with Indonesian President's special envoy to the Middle East Alwi bin Shihab, chairman of board of directors of Medco Energi Lukman Mahfoedz, Chief Exploration & New Ventures Officer Faiz Shahab and Indonesian Parliament member Muhammad Najib.

Hadi stressed the importance of investments in creating job opportunities, accenting the full support of the Indonesian investments in all areas.

He reviewed several issues concerning the joint relations between Yemen and Indonesia as well as the steps and actions made under the Gulf initiative.

The President asserted the strong determination in carrying out the Gulf initiative, saying that the national comprehensive dialogue is important to achieve the desired goals for Yemen's future.

We are suffering now from several impasses have been emerged since the eruption of the September and October revolutions, so we need to persistent efforts to tackle them and set up a new governing system.

The envoy conveyed the Indonesian President's blessings to the procedures and decisions made under the Gulf initiative, stressing Indonesian investments would be increased soon in Yemen.
