Yemen, U.S. talk on security cooperation

SANA'A, July 09 (Saba)- Yemen and the U.S. discussed here on Monday areas the bilateral cooperation between the friendly armies of the two countries.

This came in a meeting gathered Chief of General Staff Maj. Gen. Ahmed al-Ashwal with the U.S. ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein, in which they touched on the cooperation in the aspects of training and exchange of experiences specially in combating terror.

Al-Ashwal expressed his happiness for the advance level reached by the partnership relations between the two countries.

For his part, the U.S. ambassador commended the successes and victories achieved by the Yemeni armed and security forces against the terrorist elements.
