Performance level of IOM in Yemen discussed

SANA'A, July 02 (Saba) – Yemen and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) discussed here on Monday possibilities of the resumption of the expatriates ministry' projects as well as the performance level of the organization in Yemen.

During his meeting with Acting Director of the IOM office in Sana'a Fawzi Zyoud, Minister for Expatriate Affaires Mujahid al-Quhali confirmed the need of the ministry to carry out number of strategic projects related to organizing the migration and the importance of the IOM's cooperation to provide the required funds to implement these projects.  

For his part, the IOM official noted that the organization has begun the implementation of the ministry's capacity-building project, and the development initiative of the contractual employment project which were postponed for the 2011- crisis.
