Govt launches final version of development program for 2012-2014

SANA'A, July 02 (Saba)- Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation announced on Monday the completion of the final version of the phased program plan for the stability and development for 2012-2014.

Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohamed al-Sadi, who chaired here the consultative meeting between the government and representatives of donors, confirmed that the phased program has been prepared as an urgent and medium-term development plan aims at restoring the political, security and economic stability and promoting the state-building.

The phased program also reviews and discusses the economic and social assessment prepared by the development partners and in close cooperation with the government, al-Sadi added.

Al-Sadi pointed out that the phased program includes four basic components represented in assessing the economic and social needs, restoring the stability and security, strengthening the rule of law, and the economic recovery program.
