50 trainees with special needs honored

SANA'A, Dec.31 (Saba) - Undersecretary of Social Affairs and Labor Ministry Ali Saleh Abdullah has honored 50 trainees with special needs.

Over a month, the trainees received a training program within the first Springboard women's self development program supported by British Council Yemen.

Abdullah noted to the importance of civil society organizations' contribution besides the official efforts to implementing such programs to develop life skills of disabled people and integrate them in the society.

The honoring ceremony was attended by British deputy ambassador to Yemen and Assistance Director of British Council in Yemen.

It is noteworthy that about 1000 trainees from men and women have benefited from this program in Yemen and 10,000 trainees at Middle East level.
