COS to carry out survey over food security in Hodeida

SANA'A, Nov. 20 (Saba)- Central Organization for Statistics COS would start by mid of coming December to carry out a survey for a project of information system for food security in Hodeida province.

The national coordination of the project Abdul Rahaman al Ghashm said that the survey aims at existing a database over condition of the food security.

He said that the project is funded by the European Commission at sum of € 2 million in order to improve the food security in the country by establishing national information system in this regard.

The project was started in 2008 to give a clear picture for the decision makers in the country about the situation of the food security in the nation, al Ghashm said.
