Yemen tourist days launched in Frankfort

FRANKFORT, Oct. 29 (Saba)- The Yemen tourist days were launched Thursday in Frankfort in Germany within the 2nd Tourism Promotional Campaign of Yemen in Europe.

Member of the Higher Tourism Council and Member of the Tourism Promotional Board Abdul-Karim Abu-Talib considered the launch of the Yemen tourist days in Europe a call for all Europeans to visit Yemen and enjoy the various tourist landmarks in the country.

Abu-Talib, who is also head of the Yemeni delegation in the campaign, said that "we are as Yemenis stand in one line with the international community to confront and combat terrorism and it is not fair to deal with the same as those who commit terrorism against themselves and their countries," praising the result of the EU foreign ministers meeting regarding stance by the Yemeni unity and stability.

He expressed hopes that threats against Europeans' travel to Yemen be reduced because Yemen itself is calling for fighting terrorism and is a partner of the international community in combating terrorism.

For his part, the former German ambassador to Yemen Frank Mann reviewed, in his speech, outcome of his experience in Yemen and his admiration of the Yemeni tourist product which is almost unavailable but in Yemen, noting his good knowledge of Yemen and the Yemeni people.
